Sit Up and Pay Attention!


Desktop computers, laptops and mobile devices have given us a new way of life, including a tendency to slouch in front of our screens and strain our fingers and thumbs texting. The best ergonomic chair in the world and the most intensive OH&S training are not going to solve the fundamental problem of putting space between us and our beloved screens. Here’s some motivation to change. A study at the University of Auckland showed that participants who sit with good posture; cope better with stress, experience increased self-esteem and have more energy.

The study also suggests good posture can prevent pain and improve your mood.
