After you complete my tutorial you’ll be confident using Google Data Studio to create reports using data from your Google Analytics accounts. I'll show you how to create two key reports, including an audience snapshot dashboard and a dashboard that combines data from four separate Google Analytics views.
Google Data Studio allows you to create dynamic reports and dashboards using different types of data (including data from Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Google Search Console). It provides great flexibility with a gentle learning curve, so you can begin creating your own reports quickly using your own data.
Let’s jump in…
The free version of Google Data Studio allows you to create unlimited reports and connect multiple data sources, including:
- Google Analytics
- Google AdWords (including from Manager or MCC accounts)
- Google Search Console
- Google Sheets
- YouTube Analytics
Google Data Studio also includes inbuilt collaboration options allowing you can share your dashboards and reports. Plus you can make them dynamic by adding a date range selector and filtering options right within your live reports.
