Loves Data is all about getting the most out of your data. We’re about getting to the good stuff and skipping the fluff. We’re specialists in Google Analytics and Google AdWords and have consulted with some of the biggest brands and trained thousands of people to do it themselves.
Before we began to focus on all things data, we designed and built websites. We soon discovered more and more of our clients wanted to know how their sites were performing. I came across the newly launched Google Analytics about the same time in 2005 (wow, how time flies).
I loved Google Analytics from the beginning. I absolutely loved how easy it was to start collecting data and reporting on trends. Google invited us to become a Google Analytics Certified Partner in 2007. I’ve been showing people how to understand and apply their data to improve their online marketing and digital channels, ever since.
My core beliefs…
- The key to success is simplicity over complexity. I always aim to break the learning curve. It really doesn’t need to be complicated. Everybody should be able to jump in and get started using their data and improving their campaigns.
- It’s better to focus on what works for you than trying to master everything at once. Trust me you don’t need to use every feature and click every button. Put your time into what gives you the best results (Analytics, AdWords or whatever you’ve got).
- You can (and will) improve your website, campaigns and your digital channels by using the data you already have available. Once you understand what you’re looking at (even if it’s not perfect) you can achieve a positive change.
I want you to succeed with your data. I want your website to rock and your digital campaigns to be the very best out there. I’m here to help you hit your goals (and yes, I love doing it)!
How I got here…
I approach analytics and digital as creative problem solving. It’s about designing a solution that is both elegant and effective.
When I first started using Google Analytics there were no books, there was only a handful of blogs and Google’s own support material was almost non-existent. It was an adventure, I’d play with the code and I’d play with the reports. Things took time, but it was possible to figure out the answer. I was problem solving.
I’ve delivered training for Google across the globe. I wrote my book ‘Learning Google AdWords and Google Analytics’ to save people time and share my 10 years experience. I love helping people get the skills they need by sharing and encouraging them through my courses, blog, webinars, client consulting and conference.
Before you go, I’d like to invite you to join me in my Analytics Essentials course (it’s free), you’ll learn (or refresh) important fundamentals of using Google Analytics and begin getting more out of your data.
I can’t wait to start showing you how to get the most out of your data too!
